I thought of Invader Zim and JTHM too... Jhonen Vasquez is probably inspired by a lot of Tim Burton's stuff. Thanks for the link!

It definitely runs in the same vein as Jhonen Vasquez and Roman Dirge's work, but really, who can resist a morbid strange cartoon. It just makes you go all tingly and giggly inside. Ok, maybe that's just me.
