IMDBs weighted ratings system

If you compare the number and % of votes for this to that of Jonas Brothers, you'll see that Anus has a much higher % of 1s and a far lower % of 10s. The arithmetic mean for Jonas is 4.8 and for Anus it's 3.5. Yet the weighted rating for Jonas is 1.3 while it's 2.7 for Anus. It seems that all the weighted system does is not count a bunch of the 1s and 10s and all the 3s through 9s that Anus got (higher % of these for Anus than for Jonas) raised it's rating. The unfortunate thing is that we don't know how many of the 1s are honest and how many are people that haven't seen it or are just trying to lower the rating. They can not count votes of people that only ever rate movies 1s or 10s, but I'd have a hard time believing that more people are giving Anus 1 or 10 that only rate like that compared to Jonas.
