Zombie = Infedility Metaphor?

I suppose it's "obvious." The dialogue is interchangeable with that of a Bill and Hilary Clintonesque serial cheater. We even get the man wandering down to the beach. And then the end scene. Still they managed to make a decent movie out of it. this is an above average zombie movie. And not too bad a drama.

so, by a zombie eating a random person they are essentially going outside whats considered being faithfull (in a zombie universe). as if said zombie shouldnt be in a relationship if it cant help itself from eating anyone other then the healthy human it has committed to.

i am not trying to cast judgement on your theory, i promise...just wanna make sure im grasping the premise.

I DO CROSSWORD PUZZLES IN PEN CUZ IM JUST THAT CONFIDENT

the dialogue the entire film is

Woman: "How could you do that?"
Man: "I don't know what came over me, it just happened."

My theory is that the pronoun "it" refers to cheating, and the zombie is just a proxy to write a story about a wandering husband.

I think it's more likely that the same kind of language can be applied to many types of breaches of trust, not just sexual infidelity. In this case, Denise is rightly concerned that Danny's behavior threatens their security and while she wants to protect him, she knows it will eventually end their relationship one way or another. You could as easily swap out gambling, emotional issues, financial irresponsibility, or any number of things. For Danny and Denise, their challenge just happens to be that he's a zombie.
