Monkeys

did they show any in the movie?

Monkeys? Sure! Many minced monkeys made up Mincayani's manly, meaty meals.

Interesting how,in this Christian themed movie, they put halter tops on the native women to spare us views of floppy dugs but let the men run around in bare-butt thongs. For this, I thank my personal Lord and Savior, Jesus H. Christ, because that Louie Leonardo ("Mincayani") is certainly one hot Waodani.

If I had known such eye candy ran around half naked in the jungles of Ecuador, I would take up missionary work myself in the hopes of getting "speared" by the likes of Mincayani. Lord have mercy!

In all seriousness, this film just goes to show that if busy-body missionaries didn't try to force their Middle Eastern desert deity on these children of Eden, they wouldn't have gotten their guts perforated.

It was also interesting how the Christians were all ga-ga about this movie until they found out that the lead actor, Chad Allen who played Nick/Stevie Saint, is gay. They thought it terrible that a gay man would be the star of their holy movie. Hey guys? That's why they call it ACTING. Sheesh.

Interesting view of the word "force". Telling the Waodani about Jesus allowed them to turn their culture around and save their tribe from extinction. Nate Saint and the other missionaries knew what they were risking, but when they could have shot dead their attackers, they believed in their message of love and non-violence strongly enough to die for it. That quality of 'living the message they were preaching' was the strongest influence that melted the hearts of the Waodani and helped them to choose the way of peace.

I couldn't help but LMAO at this. While watching this all I thought was how incredibly HOT Mincayani was! He certainly was the highlight in this, very solid acting too! He was pretty hard huh?

If there would have been Monkeys in the film, I'm afraid they would have been hunted then eaten by the Waodani and Steve Saint.
