Puerco Pibil


Has anyone cooked it? I have mine in the oven... only 3hrs and 20 mins left! Hopefully its good. Smells nice.

its kind of unfortunate....i was going to make it (even bought the tequila), but i can't find those annatto seeds. it must be because i live in canada...or i'm not that good at finding things.

I live in Toronto and was able to find everything. Even banana leaves (Kensington Market).

Puerco pibil is *amazing.* One of my favourite dishes.

Annatto seeds are also known as achiote seeds - maybe you could find them by that name?

luckily for me i have a few mexican grocery stores within 15 of my house here in indianapolis and managed to find everything i needed there exept for the tequila and pork. i went to the local grocery for that. it was really great cooking it and tasted exellent
