Faivre - a bad choice

So I have not actually yet seen the movie because I haven't been able to locate it anywhere, but reading the review on it, it seems to me that of course, the idea behind this movie is brilliant but the choice of actress (Florence Faivre) appeals to me somewhat ironic/funny/odd/whatever as Faivre is in fact french/thai and looks a bit too western for my taste at least. I think they should have made a better choice than that. What is the average Thai supposed to hereby feel?
