Is this a spoof on Training Day?

Thought same thing. Jackson talks like Alonzo, dresses like Alonzo, drives the car Alonzo drives, and the day takes place on a rainy day just like Training Day. Also Samuel L. Jackson was even suppose to play Alonzo in Training Day but turned the role down.
