I can not believe that all these knowledgeable reviewers have not caught on that Wedding Crashers is a rip off of this movie "Je prefere qu'on reste amis"
No one mentioned it. Unbelievable.

That's what I thought when I saw the trailers!! I haven't actually seen Wedding Crashers (I don't especially want to), but I saw this movie on an Air France flight a few months ago. As soon as the Wedding Crashers promos started showing up all over the place I thought "Hmmm." But I guess not enough people have seen this movie to make the connection.

Yes, it seems like Hollywood is just trolling around now, seeing what french films are in production and stealing their theme.

The basics of both films are similar in that you have a confident womanizer and his buddy who is a shy-type looking for a true love who crash wedding receptions. Other than that the films are quite different.

Personally I found Wedding Crashers to be funnier but Je Préfère Qu'on Reste Amis to be the better film.
