If I were going to do a Godzilla showdown, I would divide the monsters into teams: the good monsters, led by Godzilla, and the bad monsters, led by King Ghidorah. Instead of Godzilla storming through the world, destroying every monster in his path, Godzilla's allies could each handle a different monster in a different city. That would make for some great match-ups.

Now for the teams:
Team Godzilla:
Godzilla
Anguirus
Rodan
Mothra
Minilla
Baragon
King Caesar
Jet Jaguar
Varan
Moguera
Manda
Gorosaurus
King Kong-unofficial, but he's protecting New York

Team Ghidorah:
King Ghidorah
Mechagodzilla
Gigan
Biollante
Zilla
Ebirah
Battra
Gabera
Mechani-Kong
Megalon
Titanosaurus
SpaceGodzilla
Megaguirus
Hedorah
Kumonga

But that's just who I'd pick.

WOW!

Talk about some lopsided fights. This would last about 20 minutes including previews and credits. 19 minutes would be the King Ghidorah fight.
