one guy speaks english, then this guy replies back in japanese. and theres only subtitles for the japanese part. thats stupid. i feel so disconnected when they do that. kitamura shouldve kept english out of this.

That's because the Japanese think putting bits of English into things is cool. What's the point of subtitling English if you understand english, which you clearly do because you're typing in English.

A deaf person gets an entirely different set of subtitles than a non deaf person
There are MANY movies where a single character gets subs
Do you think they release them so deaf people could never watch
I just watch it all in english. Two different languages occuring and then changing also happens in GOOD COP BON COP, but in that you can't choose, you have to hear both French and English.
