Why no King Ghidorah?

Does anyone else find it weird how in the movie celebrating Godzilla's anniversary, his greatest enemy is totally absent? I mean yeah, we got Kaiser Ghidorah, but it's pretty weird to use a copy when you can just use the real thing.

I think that's my problem, why go for a slightly different design and name when using the normal ones makes no difference?

I still consider that the true Ghidorah, he just got upgraded like many of the other monsters seen in this film.
