One of the best endings!

I caught this on the IFC channel one day and felt so connected with the characters and the story. It's a raw, appealing, depressed, type of movie with such clear resolutions. Its simplicity bings comfort and intense comprehension on typical issues dealt in society. I felt in love with the ending and how the audio of song plays through the multiple pan scenes. It really displays much vivid actions and thoughts to the audience. I love it that Duane has the realization of change by taking that first step and letting people into his life, like his friend, dinner scene, and that glance of him drinking the water, while everyone's drinking alcohol. Such brillance!
