All horror fans need to rent this

I work at Blockbuster and go to rent this early and was quite knocked back. This is one of the best indie horror films to come out in a long time. It's a gut busting, side splitting, gory, tastless(I mean that in a good way). This movie never steps wrong. Alot of people are gonna write this off because of Ron Jeremy being in it, but, he's in it for like fifteen minutes. The story kinda takes a weird turn at the end, but, it's still a knockout. If you're reading this, you should rent this.

As a horror comedy, I gotta kick out of it. C'mon, it had the cop from Dazed and Confused saying one of the same lines from that movie, three hot chicks, good gore scenes, humor, and the guy who played the convict that survived did really well, given what he had to work with. I stand by my comment. Cheers.

I feel a little bit more stupiderer for having watched this whole movie. It was funny, but only because it was so terrible. The acting was terrible, the plot was ridiculous, the writing was terrible, the characters were so unbelievable they were hilarious, etc.

As terrible as I felt this movie was, it reminded me of the Evil Dead series, sort of a cheap on purpose kind of thing, but I think Evil Dead was better in so many ways. One strange thing about it, though, I found myself wanting more of Andre the Butcher. But, a re-vamped Andre the Butcher. I think, if they actually put some time and money, and much better writing into a sequel, he has the potential to be the next Jason Voorhees, Freddy Kreuger, Michael Myers, etc. I know that's saying a lot, but I just said potential. Being that he's supernatural, but has the appearance of a human, yet can take on bullets, loss of limbs, etc. makes him an appealling super-villain.

I would certainly not recommend this movie to anyone, but I could see why some people would like it. Not saying I understand that, though.

I was thinking at the beginnning of the film that my IQ was dropping by the minute, but if you take it in good humor in watch it with the right people it's a great movie!

I rented it thinking it was a comedic horror movie, but it was neither. There were maybe two semi-funny parts; the rest just made me want to destroy the DVD or cry. It was the worst movie i've ever seen.
