Totally a GREAT GAME movie and deserve more recognition that it gets. It's supposed to be cheesy. I think this grows on ppl, cuz it had seens that match in the game and that should have got some sort of success for that or recognition for that. I just think it deserves more than 4 rating.

Absolutely. It ably and fully embodies the niche sensibility it's going for, with great production values. The ultimate in breezy, sexy, babe combatant fun.

I had a similar reaction to Paul Anderson's original "Resident Evil (2002)," also widely deemed a clunker. I think it's the definitive, high-gloss, slick zombie actioner. Milla Jovovich headlines, and she makes it a thrilling exercise in Fem-Domination of The Dead. Director Anderson also produced DOA: Dead Or Alive...
