Been There, Done That...Fell Asleep!

I have had the pleasure in my last 45 years on this planet, having begun my "journey" at age 9, to try and digest just about every "new age" method there ever was, from Carlos to est, to TCW (Terry Cole Whitaker) to Catholicism, Kabala, the ways and means of every Bodhisattva that every walked on or above the earth, the Bible, the Koran, Bhagavad-Gita, the New York Times Sunday crossword puzzle (just kidding), etc., etc., etc., sometimes as a serious student, sometime just for a giggle or two.

I have no real opinion about the Celestine Prophecy as a film, expect that I had high hopes and fell asleep during this movie and while I was hoping for a moderately interesting dream and didn't have one, did come around and back to the "aha" that all of life and everyone in it no matter where you are in the universe is related at some deeply cosmic level. There are not just 9, or 10 or 11 insights…there is one for everyone human being. We are put on this planet to find out what the other guy's is. So, is the answer really "42?" Probably.

The true meaning of life is to find out what the question is and that is only found through developing a passion for your own life and then taking an interest in the lives of others instead of just passing through as though merely an observer.. I'd sooner recommend "My Diner with Andre" than this film, though it did spark a few fond memories. Thanks for your time! Peace, love, out…LOL

Back in the 1980s a girlfriend and I considered writing a New Age book just to see if we could make some money on it. Alas we were in college and had no time...

I haven't see it yet though I plan to as the production company rented props from my company. Nonetheless it really can't be worse than the book.

I think we should all put on the improbability drive.
