A bit unrealistic that the only classes they seem to have were...

Music lessons!

Right?

I think we had one music-class a week, these guys seem to have nothing but music-classes lol

I just recall there was another class they had but mainly music-class

We crash into each other, just so we can feel something.

Finally someone else notices this! I get that Lark Creek Elementary or whatever it's called clearly isn't the greatest school in the world since the teachers do nothing about its obvious bullying problem, but even so you'd expect 12/13 year olds to be doing more than English and music classes. They don't study science or math or history or anything.

Not only this but the whole middle school/high school representation is very stereotypical of any American movies. I haven't been to middle school in the U.S but I'm sure it's not as horrible as it is depicted.

Middle School is just as horrible as depicted in the movies. The kids are terrible to each other. The motto is "shun or be shunned." Self-esteem is basically sucked out of you and you're lucky if it returns before you reach college. My advice would be to homeschool through those years.

The scenes of the other normal classes they had were cut from the movie, it took about 8 hours off the film.

If you had watched properly you'd notice that during the music class every kid was singing and Jess was just sitting there with no energy in him. Jess likes the music teacher but doesn't say a word to her. After he becomes friends with Leslie he's shown singing in the class and then later offers to help the teacher. And after Leslie's sad demise he's shown again sitting sad and weepy in the music class.

Now I don't think they would have been able to show him energetic and happy in any other class as he was in the music class. So the music class was just to show how Leslie's presence affected him in school and doesn't mean it was the only class. There was also an English class in which he isn't attentive at all

They do have other classes, but they aren’t relevant in advancing the plot of the story. You know, kind of like why they won’t show Leslie actually peeing in the restroom between classes because who really cares? Well, maybe a few sickos might care but the point is that if we showed everything then the film would be hours and hours long.

True. They pick carefully the classes that help advancing the story. Itz_theo give great examples about the function of both classes to the story and main character.

Also, It is not so strange that there are only two teachers learning one class, for example, in my primary school there was only one educator and one teacher who taught us all year long. Although it is more common in lower grades it is still happens.
