It has been cancled

Take it from someone who worked on the show...

it's not comming back.

No real reason, other than NBC didn't like the ratings it was getting and didn't want to spend the amount of money it cost.

The house was just being rented, and it has since been given back to the owner.

The people who worked on it are all working other jobs by now...including myself.

We're all fine, and as far as I know all the former cast members are fine (the ones that I know)
