Im mostly into fantasy samurai type movies i.e. not the ones with big heavy armor. I also like when japanese demons are involved and among my faves are Onimusha, Musya, Versus, Aragami, etc. I read a short description of this movie and he goes into the underworld it said. How are the scenes in the underworld, without any spoilers?
Also how does it compare to Versus? Is this still a very "badass" movie?

If you like fantasy films I think you'll like this flick. It's not as crazy-ass a movie as Versus (but then again, NO movie is). It's set in the modern times so there isn't any big armor stuff. There aren't really any underworld scenes other than the gate room leading to the afterlife world. There also aren't any monster demons or anything like that (except for one you see part of). That being said, I think this is a really great movie. Yumiko is gorgeous, as are all of the women in the cast. The action scenes are cool and the film has a great "look" to it--the sets and costuming are really nice so there's no cheap, low-budget feel to it. The plot moves along nicely and is easily understood. It's not a "badass" movie per se, but it is a great action- fantasy flick with a satisfying amount of swordplay and action and several ass-kicking women. Highly recommended.
