What happened at the end? *SPOILERS*
My friend and I were thoroughly annoyed with this film and could not force ourselves to watch it all.
However, we are interested in knowing what happened at the end. Can anyone enlighten us?
The movie was terrible - it had so many plotholes, unexplained questions that the movie makers accidently brought up themselves and acting resembling reading the script onstage, that I also almost stopped watching.
But, my friends and I turned it into a joke near the end and just laughed, so it was okay. At the end, it turns into the most cliched ending of all time, with Mina being a lifeless commander of a stupid gate and telling her love "No, you don't want to be with me. Life's so short. Appreciate it - go back to your life!" And he does.
Like I said, you didn't miss a thing.

I don't know how to do the quote thing you guys do but in response to your question:
No, I agree that Hollywood films are a bunch of effects-heavy, over-produced nonsense 95% of the time. I was talking about your "bloody Americans" comment.
But don't worry, I was only joking. For the most part, I agree with you THERE too. I just don't like being lumped into a category with "those" Americans because I'm NOT one of them. I see people from the UK and Australia etc... saying that crap all the time. Not that I think your opinions will ever affect my life personally but it bothers me that you guys think everyone over here is like that.
