The "singer" so wants to be British it's unbelievable.
Rock n' roll doesn't need to have "meaning" or "substance", just a guitar riff and some lyrics, we don't need an eight minute song about being depressed.

if rock n roll doesnt have meaning or substance then i dont wanna hear it, what the hell do you know about music, how does he want to be British, he clearly states he is from oakland at every show, what he's saying is he thinks his british fans are far more exciting than theyre homeland fans, and your not only supposed to recognise this band for one song about being depressed, even if it was a masterpiece.

If you were referring to my post, my point was that Poison was a terrible band that has no place on this list. They are the epitome of rediculous hair bands and have nothing to do with hard rock; i.e. their incredibly stupid song "Unskinny Bop." Also, I don't like Green Day, either.

The list was ok in my opinion. I thought putting the Rolling Stones so low was kind of a sign of dissrespect.

Plus, they are emo-wannabees. That's beyond pitiful. They're early stuff is decent but not enough to get them on the list. Not even at spot 100.
I hate Green Day, but I disagree with what you said about them making an entire album "bashing the President." Not because I don't like the President, but more because that that wasn't what the album was about. It was a rock-opera about a character who doesn't like the way the country is going and sets out to start his own life of protest and being emo. But when he gets to the real world he finds that there's more to life than bitching about the President and his life goes in the crapper. Just wanted to clear that up.
