just wondering if anyone knows if it will ever be released on DVD i have watched it several times and would love to own it. maybe someone knows who we can email to see if they are even considering it. many made for movie shows are being released on DVD now hopefully this will be
shareRE: The Hamburg Cell. I recently saw a DVD copy, in a commercial container box; it was last Thursday (4/27). However, I was in a foreign country. The owner of the box unfortunately was not present to ask about the source of the DVD. I had no idea at the time about the unavailability here in US, or I would have pressed the subject. shareAre you talking about the same film? "The Hamburg Cell" had nothing to do with the History Channel and there's nothing "oversimplified" about the Channel Four/HBO film. It's a very meticulous, well-researched, amost plodding docudrama. Fictionalized out of necessity, but based on the best facts available. The DVD hasn't been released in the US and isn't on Amazon UK either.
