Just one question.

Ï enjoyed this movie and I am not an army expert, yet one thing seemed a little odd to me. After they(the good guys) crash, they're supposed to be behind enemy lines. Good. A couple of minutes later they are seen walking in the middle of the field or rather a meadow, chatting.

Is this a good idea? I mean when enemy spots you first and starts firing at you, you have to run several hundreds of metres to get covered behind the nearest tree or stone.

Before you call me a stupid nitpicker I have to assure you I know it's just a movie and I'm not bitching here. Could just anyone enlighten me on that subject please?

Cyril: Truer words were never spoken !
Its an awful movie, or rather, a mockery of a war movie. Its like the Director taunting U with "I can show anything and get away with it while U spend ur hard-earned money for the ticket".
So I wud suggest that U dont try to make sense of something pretty senseless.
Well, my 2 cents.

All the *beep* in this movie and you pick that to nitpick? There's about 30000 things I could name wrong realistically but I suppose it was a "comedy". Though I'm not sure if it's still a comedy is it was only unintentionally funny. The answer to your question is of course yes it isn't a good idea. Because if you start doing that then a plane 15'000 feet up flying around for no reason will spot your small fireteam and start opening fire which it doesn't have a chance in hell of hitting. Of course the Upham character clone will come and save you just in case
