Is this a cheap knock off of the ultimate superior KELLY'S HEROES??? It sure sounds like it, with the whole "let's go steal gold" during WWII plot. Only Clint Eastwood and Donald Sutherland aren't in this! lol

Kelly's was far superior on every front, humour, action,drama you name it.
i think its obvious they wanted the to use the kelly's winning formula. and you are right as it is a low budget. serenity ripping off star wars . oasis ripping off the beatles. burger king ripping off the big mac. mcdonalds ripping off the whopper. i think you get the picture. it happens when you have something great.
kelly's is one of the true greats and would love to watch more films just like it.

There is a little, Force 10 From Navarone, Where Eagles Dare, It's A Mad Mad World, and Cannonball Run influence as well. It is like they took a little from each film and said, "Who needs a storyline! Lets get a camera!".
