Really Liked The Movie, But Not The Ending

Thought the ending was really stretching the limits of reality and was just rather stupid with him choosing to enter the guy's prison just to kill him. A white collar guy like Charles was already stretching reality just doing what he did in the hotel room at the ending and the fact that he was actually dumb enough to pay this guy all that cash in the first place instead of going to the police. I understand they wanted him to have a showdown of sorts with LaRouche but they could've done it another, less ridiculous way.

And how did they tie LaRouche to killing Winston?

They tied him to Winston through the gun. When detective Church first spoke to Charles in his office, he asked him if he owned a Smith and Wesson. After the scene in the hotel where Lucinda and the others were shot, we overhear the other detective that spoke to Charles, greet detective Church, and tell him one of the guns they found was a Smith and Wesson. Ballistics testing would have tied the bullets to the same gun.

I agree that it was stretching reality to have Charles seek out LaRouche at this prison, but the vengeance gene in me was like "yay, LaRpuche got his comeuppance!"
