Melissa George - total dross

Yet another movie she manages to spoil with her "performance". All this abnoxious talentless soap drama queen can do is dumb, clueless and naieve followed by drama along the lines of "omg omg how could you i am so betrayed oh no woe is me the world has ended". Every movie. Just seeing her ugly sour face at the start of this made me let a sign hould enough for the neighbours to hear and sure thing, she ends up doing her usual.

It's the same thing she does in everything she's in. It started in Home and Away, shane dies and this ugly muff-faced moose makes the whole thing about her. They should have ended this movie with every character, minor and major, taking turns beat her head in with a shovel.

The words irrational hatred spring to mind.

Hahaha. I totally agree.

This film is a festering turd.

"Thirdly she is naive. When Charles phoned her and gave her the 'im working late' excuse she should never have fallen for that. Too trivial"

This is not entirely true: you can TOTALLY tell she's NOT falling for it (remember her immediate challenge: "why are you calling me from your cell phone"?) and - don't know if you've seen the deleted scenes that are on the DVD but it's revealed in one of those scenes that SHE had an affair with her principal. So I think she was just letting his obvious indiscretion go out of her own guilt for cheating earlier.

I think she's amazing, not particularly in this, as the role wasn't exactly a challenging one. Her best role to date is Alias, she's fantastic in that, plays a perfect villan.

reply

OMG, in Alias, she was the perfect villain. Sexy villian, but perfectly evil. Great!

reply

ALIAS was great! love her in it! Also she was wonderful in IN TREATMENT, season 1, and more recently, THE GOOD WIFE. She is aging well.

reply

I loved her in the films 'Triangle' and 'The Betrayed', and also as 'Laura' in 'In Treatment'.

I think she is a fine actress and a gorgeous woman.

If you haven't yet, also see George in TRIANGLE. She is absolutely briliant in that movie. I think it's the best work she's ever done.
