Favorite Song?

This show has such great songs! Better than any kid's show I've ever heard! However the whole show is like that! It gives kids allot more credit than any show I had growing up.

Anyway, what’s your favorite song?! I'm going to cheat here and say more than one. All in order of favorite-

5. The Balance Song.
4. Watchamadoodle.
3. Hoop Jump.
2. Tickle Goodnight.

And my most favorite is....

1. Teddy bear friends won't ya come out tonight.

I sure hope they come out with a new soundtrack soon! They're so many songs I gotta have!!!

reply

The songs are awesome! I fell in love with the Teddy Bear Song right away when that show premiered.

My favorites are (I'm cheating too!):

1. The Stretching Song (Happy Birthday, Tater)
2. The Little Big Top Boogie Band
3. Tie: Gumdrops Song/Cotton Candy Sure is Sweet
4. Lean, Bob, Flap
5. Tie: Hoop Jump/Where is Dinky?/Laugh and Clap for Skeebo

Heh, heh; I double cheated! And if I may triple cheat, I really like the Lim-Boa song that's not even on the soundtrack. That second soundtrack had better come out soon!

OK, Jojo friends--
My favorites off the CD are:

"Jump, Swish, Shimmy" because of the cute part where she sings in the middle and hits that off note "Jump, Swish, Shi-mee, it's the way to go".

I love "Itchy Oochie Me" for the way she says "tummy" and the last line.

"Snake Dance".
"Cotton Candy Sure is Sweet" for the line "Swirly twirly tasty treat".
And of course "Tickle Goodnight" for all of the cute Golaith giggling.

Looks to me like Tickle Goodnight isn't just my fave!

I had an 'incident' while on vacation recently, when my husband destroyed the eject button on my car stereo and Jojo got stuck in it for two months until i got a new one! Everyone thought I'd have got sick of it after two months of Jojo or nothing but I did the best thing i could...sung along at the top of my voice much to my 1 year old daughters amusement! I now have my cd in the car with the new cd player and the rule that my husband is not allowed to touch it!

reply

In response to your first remark, I only have one thing to say: WHAT ARE YA TALKIN' ABOUT?!?!?!?!?! Was that song a little too "touchy-feely" for ya?! BTW, IMHO, Jojo's version was WAY better than her dad's, also Goliath seemed to enjoy it more.

I finally ordered the second CD ("Songs from Under the Big Top") and was mostly happy to receive it. I was disappointed that many songs from the first CD were repeated on the second. That is such a shame, as so many of the newer songs could have been featured on this.

Now I'm anxious for the next CD, especially if they put the Cricketeers' song ("Crick crick crick crick!") on it.

You need a tutu to do ballet...

reply

YAY!!! someone else who loves the Cricketeers song!

we sing crick crick crick crick around here ALL day. its my fav episode and of course the 2nd episode which plays after is tickled pink. merry berries!

go crick-crick song!

reply

I catch myself singing (under my breath) "crick crick crick crick" in the middle of boring meetings! It is definitely one of the best songs from the show. Too bad they probably won't release it on a soundtrack now that the show is officially over.

Oh, but then our lives: believe me, they are indeed wretched.

reply

Oh, "Tickle Goodnight" Has got to be my favorite song OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!! Man, if I was in Goliath's position, it would NO DOUBT be the BEST night's sleep I ever had!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad other people like this song besides me!

My favourites are the Hula song from Hula is Cool-a and the ones Mrs Kersplatski & Mr Muscles sang in the episode where they got married. My brother's getting married in a few months, and I've been threatening to sing A Wedding's a Wonderful Thing at the reception.

reply

That would be hilarious! You have to keep us posted on what happens at the reception. Stay away from the champagne.
