I've seen Faubourg Saint-Denis in Paris, je t'aime, but I've always wanted to watch the full 10 minute version of True. The versions I can find on YouTube/Google Videos are all 7 minute extracts from Paris, je t'aime. Does anyone know where I can find the uncut 10 minute version of True?
sharehard to say even if the real/original.last cut of the short was 10 minutes. Tom say its was like 9 minutes once, but whose to say if he was just estimating. Hard to say since by the way the short was edited.
i just say wait for a DVD, and we'll find out if there was a longer version or not.

Is the short film TRUE available on dvd, vhs, or as a film copy?
TRUE is one part of a twenty-part feature film called PARIS, JE T'AIME which is produced by Victoires Productions (France). Therefor it must not be distributed seperately by X-Filme within the next years.
This is why there will be no release of TRUE on vhs or dvd for the time being.
Also, TRUE must not be distributed for either pulic or non-public theatrical performances.
The theatrical release of PARIS, JE T'AIME is scheduled for early 2007, the film will include an abridged version of TRUE. Whether a dvd or vhs of TRUE in its original length of 11 minutes will be released in 2008 has yet to be confirmed.

There's a German 10-disc-box-set covering all of Tykwer's work up until "Perfume" that contains the full version of "True". It's called "Die Tom Tykwer Kollektion", features English subtitles on all movies and is available for 50 Euros at amazon.
