Salute

My wife bought this home for me, knowing my affinity for cheesy sci-fi.

A glance at the title, box art, and back cover text... whoa nelly.
I set expectations to "none" and fired this up.

You've already read or heard everything negative there is to hear. No point to rehashing that.

I will say "kudos" for _making the thing_ rather than sitting around and lamenting a dream unfulfilled.
Anyone can be a critic, but not everyone can make a feature-length film.

Glad to see that you kept following the dream, that's all that really matters, which is something that naysayers and those who never tried themselves would just not understand.

Pardon my delayed reply - I haven't been to this board in a while. Thanks for the well wishes! I'm still following the dream, making sets in the backyard. Interesting monicker that you have, as EXILE is the title of my next project. Trailer is here:

Hi Mike,

I'm just here to say that I actually enjoyed this movie. I have a thing for cheesy sci-fi, just like my whole family. When I went home for Christmas, all my younger siblings insisted I sit down and watch this movie.

Sure, it's bad. I laughed so hard at the dialogue when they're locked in the boxes waiting for the monster. I'm laughing now just thinking about it.

Apparently this is a family classic now and gets shown to every person who makes their way to my parents' home. Beware all who enter!

That kind of viewing ritual was usually reserved for fare, like IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. I'm honored! :)

Considering the modest budget, this film was pretty well done. Moreover, it was entertaining as well and the story kept me engrossed throughout.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!
