Supporting Actors better than bad leads

The only people who acted well was Sanjay Suri as Bobby and the guy who acted as the rickshaw guy. Also, the mother and Bobby's girlfriend characters were decently acted too. The lead lady Kashmira Shah was horrible. She was too stiff. Bobby seemed to speak in a more natural fluent Indianized English while Kashmira seemed to tailor the dialog for western audiences while her acting was too stiff by western standards. It doesn't help that she wasn't even as good looking as the Alisha character.

Also the music gave me a headache. It was some weird tacky mishmash of western music with Indian modern vocals. The only song that was not bad was the song Bobby and Alisha dance to while that highly contrived auto rickshaw chase goes on.

And Jason Lewis was damn stiff. FOr some reason, western actors are badly directed in Indian and Chinese movies. Must be the director's fault. Jason's nasal voice was hilarious.
