I'm so late to this party

I was not into this show at all when it began, and I never watched more than the pilot and maybe the second episode. Now here I am over a decade later finding it on HBO max and it's like this juicy decadent treat, that I shouldn't have but I will anyway. I'm only halfway through season one, but I cannot get enough. It may have a lot to do with nostalgia for the time. In 2007 I was 19 years old, and I didn't give it a chance. Now I feel like I have this unspoiled time capsule I can dive into.
