Favourite female tv role models as a teen

Brooke Davis - One Tree Hill
Brenda Walsh - Beverly Hills 90210
Blair Waldolf - Gossip Girl
Naomi Clark - 90210
Summer Roberts - The OC
Topanga Lawrence - Boy Meets World
Haley James Scott - One Tree Hill
Kelly Kapowski - Saved by the Bell

Loved all these women on these teen shows when I was a teen myself cause of their strength, independence and fierceness. They were the kind of woman I always wanted to be. Brooke and Brenda will always be my number 1 girls!! Best characters of all time!! What were some of your role models on tv as a teen from these teen shows?

Now that I'm an adult I have many more tv characters to add to this list

Olivia Benson - Law and Order SVU ( She's my favourite along with Brooke Davis and Brenda Walsh)
Cookie Lyon - Empire
Penelope Garcia - Criminal Minds
Emily Prentiss - Criminal Minds
JJ Jareau - Criminal Minds
Sam Morgan - General Hospital
Lilly Rush - Cold Case
Gabby Solis - Desperate Housewives
Nicole Walker - Days of our Lives
Miranda Bailey - Grey's Anatomy
Calleigh Duquesne - CSI Miami

Buffy Summers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Tiffani Smith, California Dreams
Jessica Wakefield, Sweet Valley High
Kelly Kapowski, Saved By the Bell
Sam McPherson, Popular
Maria DeLuca, Roswell

Either I looked up to them or just thought they were amazing.

I loved the Halliwell sisters on Charmed. Paige was the third sister when I was a teenager watching the show. Plus, I never really liked Prue that much. I loved Hailey James Scott on One Tree Hill, Sydney Bristow on Alias, Fiona on Burn Notice, and Veronica Mars.
