I like to think that based on how they're shown at the end, they could still maybe get together again down the line. I felt like they were a coupling that didn't fully get their chance, and they were probably the two who liked scheming the least.

shareI actually feel like Nate's arc is somehow tragic... he got everything he wants - or what his grandfather wants for him? Upon rewatching the series, I realized that Nate really became his grandfather's puppet,just like Vanessa feared he would. When in the end of s2 they travel together,it looks like Nate still has his own self. But later...I don't think he really knows if he wants to be a politician or head of a magazine,he just does what his family wants him to do.
