River got replaced as #16 by Britney Spears kissing Madonna. I have no idea why or if he is somewhere else on the countdown from 101 - 40.

I think it was very sad too that such a talented person like River died.He is missed dearly and always will be remembered as a amazing human being.

i read this thing, and it said that Joaquin's phone call was like "you have to get here...please....because he's dying!" he was screaming while he was saying it. I'm not sure about the very beginning, but i'm positive he said the last part. from "please....because he's dying" i'm positive he said that.

ditto. It was a very sad loss. Corey Feldman did a lot of drugs that same night but he didn't die.

Yeah, But River took drugs idiotically. He would mix all sorts of different things together and do tons of it all at once. Lethal.

I don't think Madonna should have been on that list at all. Her whole career has been made up of carefully calculated publicity stunts designed to shock the public. Nothing she does anymore shocks me.

I've watched a show last friday night on history channel about the last twenty four hours of River Phoenix... And let me tell you I haven't slept at all that night. The show included Joaquin's phone call, which was simple heartbreaking. Man, I started to cry watching that show, and I want to complain about it :) but I can't find it on IMDb...

I didn't cry at Denny's funeral. I miss him, Chris. I really miss him.
