Voice of previous doctor?

Does anyone know who did the voice of the now-dead research doctor on the old films of the twins? It wasn't the doctor who's currently in charge of their case because he was an intern/helper on the case back then. The more I listen to the voice, it sounds so much like Anthony Hopkins, but I can't find him in the credits, or any credit for the old doctor's voice. Puzzling!
