Question re: D.J. the dog who played Max

I recently was forced to watch "Snow Buddies" (to keep the kids happy), and direct-to-dvd Disney movie, and the "bad" dog Francois looks a lot like D.J. (with that distinctive pink patch on the nose). The credits for that movie didn't list the dog actors, only the human who provided their voices. Did anyone else on the planet but me watch that movie? Do you think that's the same dog?

DJ aka Max is also "demon" from the original snow dogs as well.

Three or four of the dogs from Eight Below are the same ones in Snow Dogs.
