i see alot of people hating on this movie, thats problably because they dont have pets, anyone who has a dog will be moved by this movie.

i paused the movie somewhere in the middle and googled this movie and found out it was a true story and there were actually 12 dogs of wich 2 survived, i myself have a husky too so the ending really moved me .. alot :P

i never cried before in movies.. but this.. oh man :P

I don't have a dog, I don't even have a pet actually but knowing that this story isn't just a fiction is so sad. I cried like they were my dogs, they are so beautiful
One may not like the acting -of course it could have been better- but only the dogs' acting alone deserves better reception.

Nowhere in your linked article does it state that a dog was killed during filming.

I don't have a dog, I'm not a dog person, but I still cry every time I see this movie. Even talking to people about it makes me tear up a bit.

I've owned husky dogs and I loved watching this movie. They are smart, loyal and strong.
