The Band is a solo artist called Bobby Chen (or Chen Shen/Bebi Chen in Chinese: 陈升)
And the song is called "I left my sadness behind" / pinyin: (Ba4 Bei1 Shang1 liu2 gei3 z4 ji3) / in chinese 把悲伤留给自己

Both answers are obviously (partly) wrong, according to IMDb and other net info.

So lets try again: What is the name of this song, is Bobby Chen miming or singing, is this song available on a CD, or was it recorded exclusively for the film? As far as I know there is no OST from this wonderful film available. Bobby Chen is listed as an actor, not singer, and Grace Chang is a female.
