Am I really all alone here?

This wonderful film has now been around for two long years. But so far it has initiated only a meager 382 votes, 6 user comments and 4 posts (5 now), of which only one got replies (and only two at that!). Why?

I very seldom write negative or sad posts (and I *never* post on films I don’t like), but now I just have to, because I feel really miserable and sad. Not about the film, but about the audience. Here’s this talented Sylvia Chang with her just as talented friends and colleagues, creating a totally charming, enchanting, witty and moving story about life and love, and most people disregard it as just a “chick flick” (an absolutely disgusting term) and simply ignore it! Here Chang did *really* threw pearls for swine!

I simply cannot see what is wrong with this film. Usually my perception of films and art chime in rather well with other (film knowledgeable) people’s judgment. But obviously not this time. So can you tell me what I missed here; exactly *why* is this film so bad and insignificant?

Could it be that IMDb posters after all are *not * international film people? That they, in fact, are all local American film buffs open only to American English speaking Hollywood standard formula productions?

No you are not alone, Cine!.........

Great film, though it took quite a bit of effort and looking to find it here in the US. That seems to be the problem. Columbia Pictures appears to have been behind it as their logo comes up on my copy, but as I had to buy an international copy it seems that Columbia or another distributor chose not to get behind it in regards to promotion and distribution.

A shame really..........
