The funniest short track race ever! Rollerderby on Ice...
In the race before Apolo Anton Ohno’s first qualifier, did anyone else laugh hysterically at the short track qualifying race where Li Haonan from China was pushing everyone else on the ice around and then by the time all four skaters were only about halfway around the track, the Chinese skater who was pushing everyone eventually spun backwards crashing into Eric Bedard from Canada and knocking him down to the ice?
The Chinese skater [Haonan] ended up on his ass sliding on the ice only to crash into the side of the rink.
Sorry, but it was the funniest short track race I have ever seen in my life! I’m still laughing as I type this, lol.
Thank God for DVR because I recorded it and every time I watch it from all the different angles I just can’t help but laugh hysterically. <wiping tears>
Even the announcer was laughing saying, “Who says short track isn’t a contact sport?”
He also said it looked like Rollerderby on Ice.
Li Haonan from China of course was disqualified but it undoubtedly was the funniest things I’ve ever seen happen during the Winter Olympics this year, probably ever.
