Obviously i am missing something here. This is on 9.2 IMDB rating, but its really bad.

Things that are wrong with it:

The acting. This is the main thing wrong, its so awful.
The script
The sets
The special effects
the directing
camera work
overall quality

The only plus point is the music, which is really atmospheric and captures the horror elements well.

So why the high score?

If anything I'd rank it higher, it is unarguably one of the four or five best comedy shows of the past 20 years.
