Did anyone else notice that this was entirely filmed in a sound stage with green screens? Really low quality chroma key effects actually.

well, i found that the ocean looked really fake when she was talking to her dad and everything.

it looked a little off when they were standing in front of the ocean so i came to the conclusion that it was a green screen early on in the film.

I completely agree with you. But keep in mind this is a made for tv Disney channel film, which means they probably didn't have the best budget to work with

Granted, I have seen films that had smaller budgets that had much better green screen efects. It seems that they were rushed. I mean, they couldn't even pick out a good piece of stock footage that didn't give anything away (see goofs section)

Just to clear one thing up, only a few scenes were shot on green-screen. The film was actual shot on one of the largest Navy vessels in existance (in San Diego, CA).
