Why hasn't this movie been released on DVD?

Because Disney wants this movie to disappear.

Why do you say that?

I say that because Disney Channel Original Movies are almost always happy movies.

This movie starts off happy but ends in tragedy and i believe Disney Channel is not comfortable with this movie because of that.

I sure hope they do. My girlfriend is in it as an extra. She was in the Navy at the time of filming and stationed on that carrier. Never saw or even heard of the movie until she mentioned it one day and we watched it so she could show me what scene she was in. It's cool that they used real service men and women during filming.

Which carrier, as they filmed aboard multiple carriers and the Hull number visible on the island is different in multiple shots.

I joined the Navy to see the world, only to discover the world is 2/3 water!

Most of it was filmed on the Stennis, so I'd say that one.

Not all... In fact the film was made using four different carriers so my question is NOT without merit.
