WHY

I love watching true crime documentries.I have read and enjoyed many James Ellroy stories however, I was very disapointed in this documentry. I knew when I clicked on the DVD trailer and the corny band popped up and all of the sudden the trailer was like a bad 80 music video,it was going to be bad. The reanactments in this documentry is like a bad MAD TV skit.

I think the best parts of the film is the actual interview footage of the real Berdella . I tried watch 45 minutes and most of that was fast forwarding through "Bobby Blues", sodomy reanactments, James Ellroy side notes .
