The Third Brother

Was he in on it? We see him with the dog in the end, and we know the dog was in the house just prior to the finale, so somehow the dog made it to the other guy (name escapes me). And the dog obviously knew him, so the third guy obviously has some contact with the twin brothers. Plus, he was leading the protagonists to Ambrose deliberately. Someone else on here said he was innocent. I don't buy that. Can't be a coinicidence that he stumbled upon the stranded group at that time, right?
