Why did i even bother?

OMG so Ive finally watched the movie and after being an avid fan of the book for a long time, such a disappointment! Lets just look at all the things they got wrong. Anyone else can add to this if they were as angry as I was for pretty much changing the whole storyline!

These are the main things that were in the book but then got totally changed in the movie that are not right!
1. Vivian is still at high school as well as Aidan (in the movie, Vivian looks about 25 and aidans at uni)
2. They live in america (in the movie theyre in Bucharest!)
3. Vivian lives with her MUM astrid (in the movie her parents and siblings are killed and she goes to live with her aunt astrid)
4. gabriel is about 25 (in the movie hes about 45 and is the father of Rafe!! -not cool)
5. when theyre wolves, they have challenges where the male wolves can challenge the alpha male (gabriel) and the females fight to be his mate (in the movie they dont even focus on that! instead they have a stupid hunt thing where they chase a human through the forest.
6. Also in the wolf challenge, Astrid, vivians mum fights Rafes mum to become Gabriels mate and loses so Vivian joins in and brings down rafes mum and so becomes gabriels mate (in the movie, she hates gabriel and stays with aidan!)
7. aidan shoots vivian with the silver bullet and she gets stuck in between wolf and human and gabriel has to bite her to saver her.(in the movie, he shoots the other wolves and then vivian shotos gabriel and goes off with aidan!)

OKay i know its alot but it just makes me angry how they base a movie on the book and then go and change everything!! They may as well not have based it on the book and had a new movie altogether!

One of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Astrid is not Vivian's Mom.

Sorry, I meant Esme

They bought the rights to the novel. They can do whatever they want with it. They paid for that right.

You said it yourself: "based on".

The movie Jaws made a lot of changes to the source novel, and improved the story in almost every way.
