Bought this movie ....watch the commentary :D

I watched it with the commentary today. Katja didn't exactly explain too much about the plot of the movie, and why she chose to stray so far from the books setting and conclusion, but there were some nice bits. I loved how she said for her Blood & Chocolate was basically Romeo + Juliet with wolves, which makes sense. As for the setting, as it always kind of bothered me that it doesn't take place in Maryland like in the book, it is nice in the end that it takes place in Romania as it has history with the werewolves legends and makes the setting even more dark and romantic. So I've gotten past disliking the setting in Bucharest.
I didn't understand though how she talked about the wolf transformations and how she didn't want it to be like they were monsters or cursed, yet in the end she made the wolves characters all basically monsters; i:e Vivian not ending up with the monstrous Gabriel like she did in the book. Aiden is a great character too though, so I can't be mad that she ends up with him.
