PS2 vs PS4 Controls

Hey,

I'm reading a lot of bad press about the controls for RE4 on PS4. Just wondering if anyone knows if the controls for the PS4 version are the same as the PS2 version?

I loved the PS2 version back in the day, and never had an issue with the controls. I It's hard to keep track of any changes they've made, with all the different ports floating around.
