Yes, I did actually. Not bucketloads of tears or anything, but I cried. This game really touched me on an emotional level, like Final Fantasy VII did. It's the only game next to final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid that I know, that makes you fall in love with all the main(and even many secundary) characters.

Try "Grim Fandango" or "Psychonauts"

The bit where the house was destroyed got to me. Its rare for me for a videogame to have characters I'll care about and feel emotional with... God that sounds pathetic. Like Barduin said Metal Gear Solid does it and to me FFVIII did it too and thats really it (with BG&E of course)

Didn't cry, was sad.

The music was beautiful and the game was just amazing. But the reason i cried was because the game ended.

how did pey'J come back to life anyway?

reply

I believe that Jade accidentally brought him back to life by gripping his hand. Perhaps we'll never know for sure...

Southland Tales
Fur
Grindhouse

I actually started to feel sad, beginning from the destruction of the lighthouse and especially when I finished the mirrors puzzle and found Pey'j was dead. I actually liked it quite a lot because I hadn't felt that kind of emotion, especially from a video game, for quite a long time.

I knew Pey'j wasn't perma-dead, since I had seen the three person trigger on the other side of the Beluga's landing pad, so I wasn't affected in the slightest.
