Can someone explain the animal thing to me?

I haven't beaten the game yet so if it's a spoiler don't tell me. But is this like a Disney universe where every animal evolved a sapient version, or has there been some massive genetic engineering that's gone on as part of terraforming or something?

I think that's not explained (and does not need to be) in the game.

Exactly. It's just one of those things that are cool and don't need explanation. the nature of the game does not require one. Besides, how can anyone question something as cool as Jamaican Rhinoseros people?

Just because I am curious doesn't mean I care.

When it comes to a fantasy world that's different from ours there's no questions needed. I mean in the world of Hilly, seeing a short talking boar it perfectly normal as well as human like cows and rhinos.
