Everyone seems to pretty much agree that Boyd is a complete tool, but just imagine how much worse he would come across if he was surrounded by normal people, and not the biggest bunch of tossers in TV history.
I mean, if you can stand next to Duane and still look bad, then you've got problems.
So many thoroughly unpleasant individuals have appeared on this show, but somehow Boyd still manages to stand out.
That's because he set the tone, mood, and vibe for that shop. The reason idiots like Duane get away with their bullying, aggressiveness, and anti social behavior is because Boyd passively allows that and even encourages and backs it up pretty regularly.
May he rest in peace but let's not kid ourselves, he was a terrible person.

It´s a TV show, the people in it are made to look that way, If you don´t get that then you are an Idiot!
I´m sure that many of the people in it were acting a part based on a script and to disrespect someone, especially someone who has the respect of the whole industry, in such a way so soon after their death shows that you have absolutley no class!
